Have you ever visited Cloud Chief?

Not in real time, only on this site
Just dropping by to say "hi" and to tell you once again, how much your pages mean to so many of us... I am the "Ruth" that asked you and you gave permission for me to borrow some of your photos of those cotton fields and some of the 'canned goods' that you had pictures of from your own mom's canning endeavors of all those veggies and fruits that she 'put up''' Still use some of the cotton pictures on my own domain... Still love coming here and trying to find some of my favs of all your pages... and pages and pages LOL :-) You DO have a LOT of pages

LUV ya John... (((hugs))) and <3

no
Just taking some minutes to enjoy your pages once again... I b'orrowed' some of your cotton pictures and some of your 'canned goods' pictures some years ago, (about 20-22 years ago), after I had asked your permission to use them and they are still over in/on my domain, (TheSteelButterfly), although my domain is in NEED of a lot of 'work', I have neglected it so much that I don't know to even start working on it again... My time is now spent elsewhere doing other things with my FB Pages taking priority right now... Thanks for still having your site(s) still available. I am finding some 'refuge' after "Paris Friday" on November 13th...

No, not yet!
Howdy John. Marilyn Lott gave me your webpage address. I love the ice poems. I had not had a chance to see Cloud Chief when I lived in Oklahoma. I lived in Noble south of Norman and also east of Slaughterville which is near Purcell also south of Norman. I had two summers and one winter there in Oklahoma. The frost on the windows and the icicles were a sight for sure. I also was impressed with the thunderstorms. I love the photo of you and your Grandparents! My son was born in Purcell so he is a native Oklahoman. I enjoy your writing as well as the photos that go with them. Marilyn's words and photos are awesome as well! Keep up the good works! ~Sherry

Have you ever visited Cloud Chief?

No, a visit is planned for this summer
I have enjoyed your sites since 1984. My wife and I live in Midwest City. I was born in Healdton, Oklahoma , January 24, 1934. We moved to Texas July, 1934 because my Dad had found work in South Texas. I enjoyed my 31 years serving in the United States Air Force (USAF) and 21 years as a Civil Service Employee of the Department of Defense. USA has problems, but I would not live anywhere else. I am Home.

Yes in the 1960's while visiting Herold McCornack's family in Clinton.
Thanks for sharing your trip to Kerrvile. While camping at Enchanted Rock park (1990's), my son Matthew Urban (now a Captain in the US Army) and I toured the Nimitz museum. Would like to see the updates. My Dad Fred Urban and Harold served together in the Army Air Corps in England in WW-II.

Hello John,
I've always be so grateful to you for your research, and in 2007, visited my ancestor's two farms in Southwest Scotland, met Nessie and otherwise
simply enjoyed a wonderful McCornack vacation - thanks to you!
Do you know how I might contact Nessie or her relatives? Are they still making those beautiful sweaters? Best wishes and blessings, Julie
